I recently hooked up my Thermae to my Morningstar MC6 Pro using a Chase Bliss midibox and it’s behaving weirdly.
I’ve set the midi channel on the Thermae and can send it CC messages to engage or bypass the pedal. The problem is that when I do that, it kills the tap tempo setting on the pedal. The only message being sent to is either On or Off.
The other weird thing is that the same thing happens if I use the MC6 to send midi to the Boss GT1000 Core on a completely different channel. I can tap a tempo into the Thermae and if I then hit the button on the MC6 to engage a tremolo or phaser on the GT1K Core, the tempo on the Thermae gets changed to zero (no repeats and no flashing red light on the pedal).
Anyone using midi with their Thermae? Any midi gurus know why this is happening?
