What's your fave and fave combo of mix and match to use.




My fave is the GreenBack MIC. It's just friggin great. Close second maybe the Creamback/V30/70th Anni G12H-30

one of my orange cabs has v30s and the other has T75s. they sound really good together.

Greenbacks. My main cab is a 4x10 with 10" GBs, and my two BluGuitar 1x12 cabs are a custom design that is somewhere between a GB and V30.

My favorite Celestion mix is running my Mojotone British 4x10 with Golds & Greenbacks in a diagonal pattern combined with my Creamback loaded Park oversized 2x12.

i guess it depends on what cabinet its in, but i always love h30 anniversaries. love h75s as well. the v30/h30 mix is a good one, sos a greenback/h30- though i dont much like greenbacks or v30s at all alone. ive also heard a gold/h30 cab that was absolutely over the top.

The fine people at Peavey apparently glue a gasket to the speaker cone and cabinet baffle board now. You know; because people never swap speakers.




***Points self-deducted because I am also a total spazz really with anything and I am sure if I was a patient DIY/luthier type; I could have soaked the cabinet in some sort of anti-glue solvent and the greenies would have came out fresh as they went in***

I took a peavey 5150 straight cab and put g12h's & v30's in it.

Sounds lovely.

Though I would love to have a cab with worn in greenbacks.

This is just the universe telling you that you put GBs in, you don't take them out.

I like G12-Ms, Vintage 30s and G12T-75s but i think my favorites are G12K-85s.

So far the only Celestion that I didn’t like is the G12-C.

I dig the Mesa C90, Redback and creamback 65 quite a bit currently

I like the h30s in my EVH cab too

I like Celestions for different applications. I’ve found good qualities in all the ones I’ve tried so far.

I’ve got a Greenback and Creamback H in an open back 2x12 right now for lower gain stuff.

I’ve got a Creamback M, G12T75, V30, and V-Type in a 4x12 for a possibly phasy mess of a speaker platform for high gain.

i think we come from the same school of 412 mine has an evm12l, and an emi delta pro12a in the top half and the bottom is a c90 and a g12h30 i never run them all at the same time.. but its an overweight pair of oversized 212s.

I run an EVH 4x12 with the 20w greenbacks and a Mather 4x12 with V30s with two mics on each cab for recording. Really love the blend of these two cabs.
