Capturing Fractal amps on Tonex

I got an FM3 and Tonex app, and I want to capture some of my favorite Fractal amps so they’re in my DAW. I want to capture the amp and IR/cab block. Do I need that Tonex re-amp box and a separate interface since the FM3 acts as an interface?

This raises a question I’ve wondered about before. Let’s say you capture a device that has significant aliasing, like an old POD or something - does the capture weed out the aliasing or build it into the capture??

I did a SLO, Triple Crown, and I think a JCM800. It sounds pretty close, and it allows me to mess with shit later on a MacBook.

I did a few of my favorites from my FM3. It was a pain figuring it all out but I am happy with how they came out.
Do you remember exactly how you set it all up? I'm pulling my hair out trying to get all of the routing correct in my FM3

imho Tonex captures sound better that the amps on fractal,i hate captures from other devices,i prefer to use real amp captures

For AI-based software (ToneX, NAM, etc), if it's audible, i reckon it should end up in the capture as well.

No idea what would happen for Kemper, QC, Headrush and all profilers based on error reduction.
