Can a Telecaster be used for metal? I used one through my Quad Cortex to find out

Interestingly, Fender also makes Teles with humbuckers in the neck. Found this custom shop model interesting. Super expensive though.

Owner says H/S and also says it was a NAMM 2017 model.

I couldn’t find more information on it, but I did find this other Tele, also from NAMM2017.

Specs of this one are:

562 Copper Sparkle Tele​

• Master built by Yuriy Shishkov
• Urethene finish
• Broadcaster bridge pickup, Seymour Duncan '59 neck pickup

This 1989 Washburn WT-90 is kind of shaped like a Tele and been used for metal many times before.
