Hip me to Soldano. I know what I have read on the Internet. :lol

Never owned one. Recent chatter has me wanting to learn more.
It's also become the go-to Model in the Helix that my friend uses
when we practice. I think it sounds great, but not something that
I have gravitated towards. I find it a bit preampy when I try.

Thanks! :beer

To me on a "turn it on and make a judgement call instantly" level; it gave off SERIOUS "I can see why people compare the Recto and 5150 stuff to it" vibes. Has that super-sizzley in 1000% pleasing way thing.

I'd love to hear it at a band practice setting. And with any luck; I might be in that spot hopefully sooner than later?
:bag

I'm not sure if it's as versatile or too :satan for you? This all after 1 15 minute IRL playing session so obviously expert level advice:LOL:

I always knew @JiveTurkey was a bad influence

I am pretty sure I am good because of the "sizzle."

Mostly curious about who used them apart from EVH and Warren Haynes and Gary Moore.
You know, for purposes of future research and the like. :beer

Lace Sensors and a Soldano will always pull at the heart strings. Clapton 24 nights because what else you gonna get from BMG for a penny?
I picked that vid because the soldandos were prominently displayed... and also because seeing Warren with a strat is weird.

I know when I saw him with Dickey and Gregg back in the early 2000's Dickey was mostly playing a black strat and Warren had his usual LP

Back in the Dicky/Warren Alman days, Warren would often use that red Strat for a few songs. I always assumed it was because the Strat was setup in an open tuning or something like that.

Saw the Back Where it All Begins tour and had instant PRS GAS :love

I’ve only played digital models of Soldanos and have neeeeever been able to get the blues-rock/jam-band goods out of the models.

These are the first amps I have owned for a longer period of time that have made me not want any more amps. I'm just settled and that is the tone I love and use now. I can't see myself changing. I've really grown fond of how they sound both live and in the studio. I can't believe I ignored them for such a long time. Thankfully using them all the time now.

However, If Marshall makes one of those new modified JCM 800 amps in a 50 watt combo.....I will have to get one, no question. Was the amp of my youth!

Killswitch Engage has used Soldano amplifiers, specifically the SLO-100
