all that said- its fun somebody did it. but how in earth you find audio transformers, i dunno. i suspect itll see maybe a half hours functional use in its lifetime though.

The sound and the smell of the manual winding machine he used, will be forever impressed in my memories. I've spent countless hours turning the crank and watching the numbers add up.
just saying that custom made transformares can be made in house or outsourced.

It's all cool and fun, although I'd doubt you'd sell but a small handful. The price would be way too high.
But why not make a 100-200 watt amp for guitar/bass?
Oh ok. I see it's a hybrid design. An all-tube version around 200-300w would be cool too, and still plenty loud.i think he makes some huge 700 watt four knob jobby for that already! super basic but crazy loud.
