I’m looking to buy a guitar from a store in Canada through reverb. I thought they first of all they did put those NO POLITICS on, but then they took them off. I thought does anybody know?

If you're asking if NO POLITICS apply at the point-of-sale, the answer is no. They're already in the price. But there may be, I believe, duties, I think they're called, because of buying something from another country.

I guess I should ask the store on reverb

I’m not sure if the store would necessarily know as much as who ever they use for shipping. Maybe ask them how they’ll ship and reach out to them directly.

What the hec is that site saying?
Those are the official rates - Column 1/General says 5% unless the country of origin is one listed in column 1/Special. Column 2 would be rate if the country of origin is Cuba or NK (40%)

Actually, do you know the country of origin for the guitar? It doesn't matter if Canada is selling it - it matters where it was made.

It’s a Yamaha acoustic made in Taiwan
So you’re telling me these add-ons are specific to where the guitar was made even if it’s used regardless of our country it’s sold from that is so ridiculous

That's how t-words have always worked. If (re)importing a new/used US made car, guitar etc. you don't pay to import. If not made in the US, you pay based on country of manufacture. The point is to encourage/discourage certain locations for manufacturing, and if it wasn't this way, everything would ship to a middleman in a country with a low or zero rate before being imported which would be stupid.
