I loaded up The LARP Page today for the first time in over a week & the non-stop noise drove me out, in just under 10 minutes 
Not complaining though, my obsession with gear has finally been *fulfilled*, and reading all the nonsense spammed out by the Larpers made me feel like I needed a shower ~ Time to put all of that energy into writing, recording & mixing.
I also got a bit of schadenfreude picturing the torment some of those pompous, self-important "mods" must be enduring having to sort through that black hole of insane inanity & narcissism
That's enough from me on the de-evolution of our formerly favorite gear site, I'll be back to talk about/research gear when I next post...

I know right?! I used to love the guy. All American rock star Dad that would still drive his daughters to school in a beat up old minivan. Then he goes and cheats on his wife and has a kid with the other women. No better than any other Hollywood douchebag. So sad.

I am not going to judge Grohl for futzing his life up. He's certainly going to pay for it. I am going to judge him for having to hear how he's the savior of rock for 2 decades while he releases the rock radio equivalent of elevator music during that time

He'll always be the drummer for Nirvana for me and I'm a huge fan of the band and his playing in it. Just a beast of a rock drummer.

This. Coke-ney Love called his "nice guy" shit into question a few years ago, and people ignored her because, well, just consider the source. Turns out, she might not be so wrong after all. I was a member of the Martin guitar forum and this one member was on other forums putting down Martins. So he puts a post about this Gibson he purchased on the Martin forum, saying how great it is, and my comment was "thats not a true Gibson, the headstock is still intact. So he proceeds to tell me about how bad Martins are and thats why he won't ever buy a Martin again. Moderator comes into the thread and tells me to settle down
so I say, "the guy is putting down Martin guitars on a Martin guitar forum. He then says I set him up. Tells me he is a nice guy. Maybe its his buddy,, I don't know. The guy hates Martins, doesn't own a Martin and proceeds to put down Martins on a Martin forum, and I get a talking to. What a joke!
