Here we go.

I started off with these two that I was using with my fm3. The Anniversary ODR is so much better than the standard one it’s ridiculous. I don’t know why they didn’t just make this the new standard. I usually prefer the ge-7 before as a boost. These two together get me about 90% of the drive tones I’ll ever need, but I’ll probably add at least one more flavor

Next I needed a board. I decided to buy one instead of doing the wood shelf thing so I’d get the handy carrying bag. This is that Vangoa one from Amazon. The power supply is so noisy it’s not usable, but it’s a fine board for now. The same size as a Pedaltrain Classic Jr.

I dug out an old Sweetfoot power supply I had in the bottom of a drawer. These things have always been bulletproof reliable for me. And as a bonus I found an old Korg tuner!

Aside from the bass knob (which is super useful) it’s a bit smoother. The normal one gets a bit of a fizzy thing that sounds more like “pedal overdrive”, while this one seems to sound more amp-like.

I didn’t like the standard one into a clean amp, but the Anniversary I love
Ah, I see, thanks. That’s probably the reason that i like the J. Rockett Blue Note over a plain tube screamer. The Fat control is where it’s at, man.

I applaud all the space you yet have to fill on that board. :cheers

Any leanings? Big ass mechanical Spring Box, perhaps. :idk

It’s very possible, that idea is definitely something I’m considering. I’m trying to keep this small/simple and right now I’m inclined to keep it all analog (minus tuner).

I was hoping to use the fm3 to fill some fx gaps, but I was getting a digital edge in the sound I didn’t like when I tried it. I’m a little spooked on digital right now

It’s fun, it’s like a big blank canvas!

Eq pedal in front of a drive…not sexy,,,but you get a lot more out of 1 drive pedal.
