About my obsession

I was over the moon when I got a 12 string.
Twice as many strings to obsess over? :rofl

Here's something to put your mind to work on..., why don't 12-strings have the ability to adjust intonation properly? You simply cannot have the same intonation on octave-tuned strings of different gauges.

Because anyone over 40 would need some serious magnification to even find the adjusting screws?

I’m just spitballing but it’s likely that most of the music played on one is closer to the nut than the bridge?

I just have had my fill of the “okay Boomer” bullshit that is so prevalent at TOP (and I’m not a Boomer, either).
At the end of the day, there are dipshits in every generation - the Gen Z kids just aren’t old enough yet to experience that what they’re into isn’t hip anymore. My daughter is Gen A and those mf’s are WILD, like their humor has no basis in reality lol. Apparently the number 67 is funny and none of them know why, they just say it and all laugh. Not like 69, it’s just a random thing. They laugh at “Ohio” because originally Ohio memes popped up given how shitty that state can be lol but these kids don’t even know the origin of it, they just laugh at it 😂 weird times ahead.

I could tell you about the stuff us Gen Xers used to do when we were younger, but there’s no statute of limitations on a lot of it. But boy howdy did we have a jolly good time.

Maybe when you get over 40, you'll recognize when someone is being rhetorical. :rofl And that was sarcasm, ya know, just in case that one passed you by also. :grin
