you need to select where to download the updates,i always select my desktop and after the update are done i trash the update filesI quite like Amplitube, but the installers really stack up and aren't removed automatically.
So, every time you download an update it's something like 3gb, or maybe even 6gb, per new Amplitube, and 2gb per new Tonex.
One day I was low on storage on my laptop, and found there was easily about 80gbs worth of their update files living rent free.
On windows, downloads are stored here -

I used it for a while, IMO those approaches cause as many problems as they fix. Better to raw dog it with some slight manual broad EQ moves (preferably cutting) and applied evenly to both speakers. They currently have ARC 4 on sale for 30 bucks. JFC everyone needs that thing for their studio
They are often sold at a pretty deep discount for that reason, which is how I got all four. They're good pedals. The lack of an editor is, IMO, a conspicuous absence (especially from a software company) that makes me use them less than I might otherwise. I figure I'll sell mine locally one of these days when I get around to it.Truth be told the main reason I wanted to check this out was for the X-Gear pedals (drive, delay, reverb, etc.). The real deal versions of those are so damn expensive.
Just to note if anybody has a problem with this coupon, you need to have TONEX MAX registered or to get AmpliTube 5 MAX v2 for that price. But you can get both of them for $/€129.99 (or TONEX MAX for 29.99 if you have AmpliTube 5 MAX v2 already). Details are here, apologies if it is complicated with multiple options but I wanted people who already had one or the other to get the same net deal, not just "buy both for 129.99 or F off" https://www.ikmultimedia.com/news/?id=TonexAmpliTubeMaxSale2025
They also play nicely together, for those interested in expanded their TONEX or AmpliTube world a little bit by picking up the one they don't have.
...aaaaand that's an example of the kind of thing I mean when I talk about a "mixed experience." It's the stuff that doesn't happen, the stuff that doesn't make sense, and the pathologically low amount of communication (that I understand @IK Multimedia here cannot fix himself) that to me makes their products risky and often just plain old frustrating. So no hard feelings, but I moved on. Their philosophy, whatever it is, just doesn't do it for me.Roadie.
How's the Tonex iOS update coming along to bring it inline with Tonex 1.9.3.
Must be any day now given its been 15 months since Tonex iOS was last updated
My post from mid-June still stands, no new news on the iOS front and please note that I was up front that the iOS initiative I was told was in the works may not be specifically the TONEX iOS app:Roadie.

As far as the iOS TONEX app, I don't have specific information as what I was told was that we are not abandoning iOS and have something in the works but it sounds like it might not be (or just be?) the TONEX iOS app. So I don't want to mislead, I guess the best I have for you at the moment is that something is going to happen on iOS and it isn't abandoned but not a lot of details beyond that.
Just a casual mention, but it's pretty much unusable for me at this point, because it crashes constantly on my iPad A16.My post from mid-June still stands, no new news on the iOS front and please note that I was up front that the iOS initiative I was told was in the works may not be specifically the TONEX iOS app:
Have you reported that to the team? I will try again on my iPad (different model though) ASAP and see if I run into any issues as well.Just a casual mention, but it's pretty much unusable for me at this point, because it crashes constantly on my iPad A16.
