Your Desert Island Amp

My MI Audio Megalith Gamma, no question. Was between my Gen 3 Armored Sabot and Bogner 101b for years, but the Gamma sent both packing.
Sabot v3 with Philips power tubes is pretty equal to my Wizard with stock el34.

Knowing myself, it'd probably have to be a Synergy system with all the modules. Preferably somewhere where the desert island sand doesn't get into them! ;)

I know I'd likely eventually get bored with just that one amp and want to swap things out.

If it had to be out of something I own or have owned, rather than the Mark V...I'd probably pick my BluGuitar Amp 1 Mercury Edition. That's the amp that gets me to my happy place with the least amount of fuss - just big, bold Marshall goodness in a practical format.

Without having played one I would guess it's the Friedman BE-100 Deluxe. The only tube amp I currently own is the Friedman JJ Junior and while I love the clean and high gain tones, to me it's missing a proper crunch channel and some additional tone shaping controls. Seems like the BE-100 Deluxe is a proper 3 channel amp with clean, crunch, and high gain with more flexibility.

My Ampeg VT-22 should be able to take down aircraft by shooting blue lightning bolts. 😂

Not exactly my desert island amp, unless I need a boat anchor.
I gigged in NYC using a VT-22 hauling it up and down the stairs of the New York subway system. Every time I started up a new staircase I thought to myself "I can't believe I'm doing this."

It would have to be my Carvin X100B it is my most flexible amp, great gain, built-in boost, 5 band, two channels, and amazing cleans. Especially if we are assuming no pedals in this exercise.

I know the VT-22s were pretty heavy. I carried around a Carvin Legacy combo for years which made lifting a Twin Reverb later on seem not so bad. :grin
