Yo been out of the game for awhile, help a brother out

Need a truck rig, just something I can plug in and use with headphones to riff out whilst I’m waiting on a load/unload/hour or so before I go to sleep.

Got a Kemper in the cart for 900 shipped, anything better out there for this?

EDIT: sorry, like I said been out of the game for a while. I’m gonna be playing a Caparison into this in drop C for metal/doom/sludge
1st … take voice lessons from yoko ono

If you want something more compact, a Kemper Profile Player or a Neural DSP Nano Cortex might be really good candidates, too.

For the use case you‘re describing, a simple „plug and play“ profile/capture player device might be the better solution compared to a full-on modeller.

Kemper is great, but I’d be looking at smaller footprints.
Top tier amp sounds: kemper player/nanocortex, hx stomp, tonex one.

But..there are supercheap small units, some battery powered, that (to me) would be perfectly acceptable for what you describe.
Valenton, Nux, Mooer.

Did you consider stuff like mighty plug, boss wazaair or one of those little battery powered Bluetooth amps?

This is what I use for “small/mobile”, sometimes into a Nux air. Bog standard powerbank, 12v converter from “Myvolts”.
I like that there are knobs for 99%, and an iPad/phone for details.

I want to see a sweet rack Rig in a Peterbuilt! I knew a truck driver that had a nice decked out one back when I was a yard goat.

Hard to beat a ToneX One for the form factor and powering options.
A friend lend me his to check it out and while I despise to download an app and program sounds on the computer, it could not be easier afterwards.
Plug in a power bank via USB plugin your guitar, a pair of headphones and off you go!

Screw it, dude took $100 less for the Kemper, I’m BACK IN THE DIGITAL GAME!

EDIT: BOUGHTED: Thanks you guys. Appreciate ya
It's what I gig with (along with the FC). I would likely have suggested a Stomp HX or Kemper Player for something portable. The FM3 is nice (very nice), but quite expensive for a "throw-and-go" rig.

Still, as you found, a used Kemper is tough to beat, and has some killer tones in it. Enjoy!
