Miyako is the guitarist and keyboard player of Lovebites, a Japanese Metal band with a nice Helloween touch, but with more dramatic components.

She has released a CD with piano interpretations of Helloween's Eagle Fly Free, Gary Moore's The Loner or Deep Puple's Burn

Had never heard of these gals!

It always amazes me how Japanese metal lives in its own world where it has its own sound to it that is templated off what X-Japan was doing in the late 1980s/1990s and then never moved on from that.

On top of that pretty much all of these bands have absolutely monster level players on every instrument.

Lovebites have already conquered the Wacken festival in Germany, and the Bloodstock in the UK. Their best performances have been taken down from YouTube, though. Since then I have purchased a couple of their DVDs
