So My Strat going to my Tech for a Set up and Fret sprout fix
as I had mentioned the Pickguard has a faded yellow square where they put the Fender sticker on , and well it's bugging me
So ill also be Swapping out the Pickguard I decided to go with a gold brushed aluminum guard
see Below (not exactly the same color as mine but close)

I've been meaning to get an aluminum guard one of these days myself.
Strat and tele pickguards are a fun rabbit hole to go down. I probably have 15 to 20.

Yes I saw that and where I went hmmm but I found the gold hardware a little too much gold
But the gold and blue, with black knobs and pickup covers might be the cats meow
But thats really just eye candy ill be happy to get the fret sprouts resolved and a pro setup

Be aware of the feel of it if you rest your fingers on it picking. I removed a few for people who hated the way the texture interacted with the picking hand fingernails. Not saying it will but worth checking.

I like brushed aluminum too .
Sperzel locking tuners, Wilkinson trem, N/M FCS Texas Specials and a 15k ohms GFS Lil' Killer pickup.
