Wireless systems advice please

I’m likely going to grab that Nux @2112 has been using. If dude can, literally, stand on top of a stadium and not lose faith in it, I’m pretty sure I’ll be fine rocking Gippers Sports Bar with one.

I ordered one on Reverb, listing says 'used' but description says 'brand new in box', lmao.

Still waiting for it to get here.

Yeah, I've seen that before. And I've read multiple reviews stating that it doesn't really work for monitoring live music because the signal distorts rather quickly on medium volume levels. I had the exact same experience with the cheap wireless monitoring solution I bought from M-WAVE or Lekato, can't remember which one. Basically unusable.

If you have $12k laying around Sennheiser has the new SPECTERA system that does that. Lol.

See that's what I'm talking about!!! This is great news! If Sennheiser is doing it, someone will come along within the next couple of years and do an affordable version.

Finally got it today, shipper req'd a signature and USPS will not bring anything past the main community boxes where we live. I went to the local post office yesterday at 3:30 and it wasn't there yet, so back today and wahlah.

Appeared factory sealed. I could NOT get in the box without destroying at least one flap, the charging case is in there tight as a mutha. If you want to try one I can say the seller is legit, and it's a significant savings over MSRP.

Only an hour into it but it puts out a bit more juice than the Lekato, was able to bring my QC input latency down a few db. Can't sense any latency and I can't tell a difference from a cable, sounds f'n fantastic so far. Of course, that's with my playing lmao.

Works on all 3 of my EMG guitars, despite what some have said in reviews. Also doesn't pickup any extraneous noise from those guitars or ones with EQ circuits.

If you tap the rcvr button it switches to "cable tone mode", which is supposed to simulate a 21' cable. I did not care to try that, plus I forgot, lmao.

MUCH smaller than the Lekato, too.

No issues plugging into my oddball guitars like either of my V's (small angled inset jacks), ESP M-II (weird inset angled jack), etc. Haven't tried the Ibanez S, it's cased in the closet atm, but the Lekato worked in it so this will, too.

I believe the earlier GLXD only used 2.4GHz, having the capacity to operate at either 2.4GHz or 5.8GHz is one of the features of the GLXD+

That is true. I have the older version and it only has the 2.4GHz.

Am I the only one who's eagerly awaiting an all-in-one wireless for both output signal and input signal, the latter preferably in stereo?

We play with wired headphones in our rehearsal space and I'm dying to be completely wire free...

I think the issue with this is going to be latency. With two wireless signals in the path it is going to add up and you will get a disconnected feeling.

Yeah, not to mention the latency added from using modeling.

I think I'm going to take a chance on the Swiff Audio WX520. I don't mind running a cable to the guitar and even use an Ernie Ball cable with both guitar cable and headphone cable. It works great but I'm still bothered by the headphone cable rubbing against my arm or just not being comfortable. I know it's nitpicking by this point, but if we're being totally honest: Which part of our gear hording journey isn't?

Please report back here on how thie WX520 works out for you. Also curious if it can drive high impedance (but high sensitivty) headphones like Sennheiser HD-6xx.

Another horse in this race is the CME iWA ... but that was in prototype phase over a year ago and there have been no updates so they may have run into issues.
