Hey everyone,
For this weeks post, I'd like to share my cover of "When the Children Cry" by Vito Bratta and White Lion (Pride, 1987). Originally I attempted playing more of the song, including a unique acoustic lead that blended with the vocals, but I wasn't able to get it sounding the way I wanted. I decided to at least upload the solo I learned, even if it's a really short video! The most important bits of this solo are definitely the bends, each one needs to be at a specific pitch. And of course, there aren't enough words to describe how great Vito was and how he's an underrated 80s guitarist! As usual, this was played LIVE over a backing with no miming/audio edits.
Song name: When the Children Cry
Band: White Lion
Album: Pride
Year: 1987
Guitar used: ESP LTD Elite ST-1
Amp: Line 6 POD HD 500x
Software for recording: Audacity
