Tried to keep it as close as possible
Now they have some extra options and are called lockmeister 6.

Would have wish to be able to keep the guitar original but it's such a mess and seeing it already had an awesome DCJ pickup it was the option to improve it a bit.

You can still get the exact same bridge

The Lockmiester is the original Floyd.

The footprint is slightly different.

We measured it and it was the same between the mount. The original I could not order from my supplier as far as I could see. This one came closest.

So now let's hope it indeed fits :)

It is the same stud width and string placement in relation to the neck but the stud position is slightly forward of the original style. It will intonate but it won’t line up properly in a recessed rout.
It is still available.

I'll ask the luthier to check this if it looks good.
I see thomann also has the standard bridge (missed that one) it's 50,00 cheaper so if it doesn't look right I'll exchange it.

Found the solution
According to Schaller it should fit but the routing of the string mounting screws are longer. They sell a replacement kit with shorter screws. Ordered those.

If i don't like it I'll exchange it. But seeing the reviews the lockmeister would be a pretty good upgrade.

The Lockmiester is better but it’s not a direct replacement. It may work but it won’t line up with a recessed rout.

Correct that's why I ordered the shorter screws.
At least that's what's they state on the Schaller site. It's the longer string screws that will probably not fit. Didn't know this so I'm happy you pointed that out.

To be sure i also asked thomann because I'm still waiting on the delivery of the bridge. Otherwise they will exchange it.

It’s not only the screws the baseplate is a little different too. As I said it sometimes fits with short screws but it will not be equally spaced in the rout. Usually the side with the bar runs much closer. Just cosmetic off centre usually but it touches or even doesn’t fit in some.

In that case I'll ask him to not mount it if it doesn't look right. Don't want something that can cause problems.
