Where to place the Tonex?

I’ve not tried putting the Tonex One into my HX Stomp yet but my plan is to profile my stacked drives in the Tonex to boost a Fender Princeton in the HX. Since I’m using it to boost, I probably shouldn’t put it before the input of the HX as it will clip. So, should I put send and receive blocks before the Amp block instead? Or am i worried about nothing.

I’m not there yet as the next step is profiling my drives together. Gotta figure that part out.

I have mine in my helix's fx loop

When I had a TONEX Pedal, I ran it in the effects loop as well.

That way I could run a gate, drive before the TONEX, delay and reverb after.

The HX series inputs are able to deal with *plenty* of input level, so I'd just give it a try,
