What Was Eddie's Live Rig During "Right Here Right Now"?

So that's the Peavey 5150, right? Which is now the 6505? Do they still make that?

So was he using the Peavey guitars at this point also, or MM? I can't remember which came first.

I don’t think he ever toured with the SLO, IIRR, that just got used on an album.

If the above isn’t the exact rig from that tour, it wouldn’t have been very different from this. Once he got the rack with the Eventide, SDE-3000’s it didn’t change much, he just ditched the Eventide later on. He did the W/D/W thing right up until the end.

EBMM’s. The Peavey Wolfgang came after Ed uh…..supposedly had relations with Sterling Ball’s wife. (Pretty sure I read that in Valerie’s book)

They still make the 6505, they just came out with those 1992 Original heads that are supposed to be spot on to the Block Letter OG 5150’s. https://peavey.com/product/6505-199...CnBKPbE4c1B7zgB4npD4N1qEoMYQkel4Dor8jENGE4ALK

If you were going to grab one, though, I’d just snag a used 6505. They’re back down to reasonable used prices, $700-$800.

Also, I remember reading, that the 5150 was in development...not released until 92....album recorded....90-91.....
Read he mainly used eventide wdw, and slo.....and a John suhr designed preamp..(CAE).

Only used 5150 on the album, for a few solos I believe.... Again, this is all for the album...not the tour....we were talking of the tone of the album....

This is just from my research....which was a john suhr interview.... amongst others ....

But take what I say with some salt and lime

Smacks face reads title of thread and feels dumb......I will bow out now ....

Nah, it's all good, I like reading about this stuff.

I am so uneducated about the rigs, and their evolution, of the guitarist's that I love. But I'm always interested in that stuff.
