Is the world ready for all that (proprietary and impossible to service ) glory now? Would ambient microtonal math rockers be inspired? Could we have an avoided the trauma of seeing them bulldozed?

For the uninitiated:

Bulldoze away again as far as I would be concerned. Making instruments with anything that dates is stupid considering the life expectancy of a quality musical instrument. Line 6 Variax should be lined up behind to get the reverse roll. If you’re going to add features you should make a hex pickup in the size of a standard HB and connect it to something external.

I didn't really start caring about or paying attention to the obsessive world of guitar gear until after this debacle so I never understood why all the hate for this guitar other than the ugly visual design. Now I know it's ugly to the core. Schnikies!

It would still be an ugly as hell guitar with features that won't appeal to almost anyone. Even if it's not Gibson Dusk Tiger ugly.

I like Gibson for exploring and putting weird guitars out (whether or not I like the guitar from the OP). Fender seems to playing it safe mostly.
