What happened to dlr? This is sad

This is not news. He got old. Happens to all of us, if we're lucky. (Or, unlucky, if old age sucks for you.)
That's what happened to that dude from Green Day too.

Well I thought with vg he was a great entertainer with average voice or even poor maybe but it fit the whole vibe well…I think Sammy h was using vh to promote himself and without it he would have faded away into rock and roll history.
He should be grateful too attach himself to vh coattails..
Dlr should have just faded away as the vh frontman and seems silly wearing all leather and singing like Elvis now

Sammy was actually a bigger act solo than VH was at the time he joined them.

People give DLR shit for his voice and never really being much of a singer, but dude, this is fucking badass.

I don't recall what Templemen said about him tracking vocals, this could be a month's of takes put together but that delivery and pitch is perfect through the whole song. Figuring this was earlier in his studio experiences and how much energy is coming off that track, it's enough to impress me.
