What Guitar Are You Playing At This Very Moment...

Not since putting it back together. Next string change I may change the piezo (under bridge) on/off switch to be a volume pot. Right now it's wired on/off but in parallel with the magnetic pickups when engaged. I'd rather have it wired separately to the output so I can use it by itself when I want. Other than that I'm pretty happy with everything else. This guitar has at least double the acoustic energy as all my other electrics so you really feel it when you pick the notes. Probably the main reason I've always loved this guitar.
Wow thats some awesome work

Congrats on the new axe, @Stone? :cheers I must have missed it.

You off the MIM Strat yet? :idk
thanks Dave, Yes its for sale, Neck issues Fret sprouts fixed but other issues arose so its on the chopping block
I'm just not a Fender guy
The Schecter is simply amazing, amazing set up and playability right out of the box, and no need to even bring to my Tech
Its that good and i also find its a beauty

If you think everything is “excellent “ can you even tell when you actually play something that is. Those are a pos by almost every measure. Are you really saying that every guitar shaped object is excellent and there is no difference between a Tyler and a start up Strat copy??

Andy, how would you know if a sub-$300, not-available-in-stores-so-you-can-try-it-in-person, guitar, is a POS? I mean, I can't imagine someone bringing a guitar like that to you for work.

Or..., to ask another way, Have you personally tried one?

But I get it. You're a snob (so am I) who does great work, who used to be a player. :grin

I’ve seen a couple of these . They are shit. On a budget instrument corners need to be cut carefully so simple is the only way to make cheap actually work. Think Les Paul junior or Fender Esquire.
I’m actually not bothered if something is cheap as long as it is an honest attempt. These are treating the buyer like a moron. Any low end guitar that has most of the budget spent of cosmetics is just laughing at you. These are in the category of total shit dipped in glitter.
