What are you using for Guitar input distribution and/or splitting?

I want a device I can plug in my guitar and then split it to multiple devices inputs, maybe supporting true bypass, selecting one output at a time or if it has a mode to split the input simultaneously as an option that would be an added bonus.

I would like at least 6 outputs.

Is there anything like that?

I found this one:

Are there any others out there?

Oh something low tech like this is probably what I would try first:

Completely passive with a selector switch

I’ve had one of these for…a very long time now

But my needs are simple here so ABY works for me.

You can’t go wrong with Radial.

What devices are you sending the signal to?

JD7 is probably your best bet. You could also look at rack loop switchers like Rocktron PatchMate or Voodoo Labs GCX as they’re way cheaper.

I use my interface and patchbay to accomplish it but it’s kind of a mix of using Thru from the DI, line inputs on certain devices, reamp boxes and the mixer in my interface.

Lillie labs does this.

Not a cheap unit though.

Palmer might have that kind of product, I'm not sure they have it but you should take a look at their catalogue.

If you go for that, I'd do as MirrorProfiles suggested and buffer the signal beforehand. But given your technical expertise, you're possibly aware of that anyway.

Btw, there's pretty cheap DIY kits for splitters. No idea how they would hold up in terms of signal quality, but possibly worth a shot in case spliiting is really all you need. This one has a buffer built in:

Thanks I’ll take a look at those.

maybe I can explore too I just got a Motu ultralite-mk5 that could potentially do it.

Yep, many of these options do. but not all buffers are equal and you’ll have to either factor in their buffer or find one you love. The older KHE switchers buffer sound much worse than the newer ones (for instance).
Radial is among the best when it comes to buffered signal design. This is touring-level gear here.

Buffer’s are really a preference. If there was one perfect design, everyone would use it and that would be that.

Radial make some excellent stuff, but many of their DI’s have low impedance inputs on their DI’s. JD7 is one of the few that goes up to 1M Ω. Many are 500k or less, so I would be cautious in assuming that because it’s Radial, it’s ideal. Lots of what they make sucks tone, unfortunately.

Even still, it’s one of the more expensive options and at that price you’d probably want to decide in whether you like their buffer or not. Switching adds a lot of cabling and you can be prone to either signal loss or factoring whatever buffer you’re adding.
