What Amp Are You Playing Today?

Back to ye old Randall RM50 (aka Lynchbox 50) head with a single-channel Friedman BE module.

I have had a bunch of these things over the years, including Synergy and Egnater. I recently sold off almost all of my amp hoard as I briefly was trying to be a grown adult-

• Ceriatone Plexi modded by Friedman to be an old-school BE/HBE
• Voodoo V-Plex modded by me to be sort of like a BE deluxe/ AX84 Hi-Octane / "Jose Pepper" mashup
• 1-2 watt homebrew along the same lines
• RM100 (traded against a Syn50 I previously owned)
• Syn 50 (that I got back)

This left me with a killer RM20 that I modded to be dual-channel with higher preamp voltages and better NFB control, which really should be enough but I got weak and picked up a lynchbox 50 nearby. At $500, it really is a pretty full featured amp. That Friedman BE module that I have pretty much equals or beats every other module for me, including the Synergy Friedman modules... for some reason... I don't know why.

What are you using to the split the frequencies?

Yeah, I run the low-mids through the Marshall and the mid-his through the VOX. I come out of the H90 stereo and run it into a stereo Ernie Ball Volume pedal
