Yeah the Katana Artist Mk3 is a awesome comboDue to space concerns, I'd put my Katana Artist MkII in the basement for a while. I brought it back up today and plugged in. I really, really like that amp on its own terms. I am seriously considering getting the Gen3 as well. It's gotta be the combo for me, because that speaker really does it for me.
I could also link them if I wanted. I landed a new job recently, and this may be part of my self-reward. I am fully stocked (and then some) on gear, especially guitars and pedals. So maybe this will be an indulgence.Yeah the Katana Artist Mk3 is a awesome combo
That said the Mk2 is still up there with not a great deal in it IMO.

I like my electrons inside vacuum not inside lettuce.

I went ahead and ordered the Gen3 Aritst. I put something else in the basement. I'm panning on using stereo link with both the MkII and my Nextone Special, which has the blue Waza speaker in it. Those Waza speakers really do it for me.Yeah the Katana Artist Mk3 is a awesome combo

I've thought about finding one of those used, though I bet it's not easy!My VOX MVX 150 Head and matching cab.

Got this LP on Friday. Shop had a Mark IIC+ combo that I used. Being used to my IIC++ I dialed it in similarly (drives around 7-8, rather than 8-9 like I recall from my initial IIC+ (sold).
Even taking into account combo vs 4x12, I was really surprised how much more aggression and gain the ++ has.
Even more impressive is how a guitar designed in the 50s slays so much as a metal guitar. A bit on the loose side if I’m being honest but delivers the brootz. Truly an axe of all trades.
