What’s the latest in NAM players?

I discovered the Sonicake Pocket Master and Matribox II this morning and I’m realizing I’m out of the loop on the latest and greatest in NAM.



Anyone have experience using NAM on either of those units? What else is out there that I should be watching?

The latest is Valeton GP-5, cheap and pocket friendly pedal very similar in features to the Pocket Master... but for some reason it seems to sound closer to the profiled amp than the Sonicake, at least in this video:

Thanks for the heads up - I was about to grab the Pocket Master to check it out. The convenience factor of these is off the charts.

Actually, after watching that video I think I’m still leaning Pocket Master. The battery power and drum machine makes it kind of a unique and useful device for my brand of late night couch shredding.

drum machine is available in the gp-5 app and it's streamed via bluetooth to the pedal. It's not battery powered but can be powered via usb too

Wanted to get one but it's out of stock pretty much everywhere, at thomann it's expected to arrive in 8-10 weeks... But at the same time I see quite a few videos from non-professional youtubers, where did they get those?

Already checked aliexpress and no listings at all there... Haven't checked Temu but I doubt it at this point.
Maybe Valeton just sent a bunch to random youtubers, I don't know

No clue on anything about them but the Hotone Stomp and Stage are supposed to play NAMM captures now I think.
