Dream Theater Metropolis 2000 Scenes From A Memory no comments needed

Elton John Goodbye Yellow Brick Road SO diverse!

Rush Permanent Waves I played in a band once that did nothing but instrumental Rush (hell with finding a singer, we wanted to do RUSH), and we did almost every song off this album!

Muse I gotta make my own compilation for these guys. I just can't choose one. (cheater, I know)

Pink Floyd Animals Another tough choice, but yeah, this is my favorite.

There are far more than 5 albums I love just as equally so this is just the off the top of my head list-

Pink Floyd- PULSE
Pantera- Official Live 101
Mastodon Hushed And Grimm
Alice In Chains -Any Layne album will do
Faith No More- Angel Dust

Something from each:

Rush (prolly moving pictures but I could fill out all five right here)

Return to Forever (romantic warrior) or Friday Night in San Francisco w/ John, Al and Paco

EBTG (walking wounded)

Alison Krause and Union Station ( any large live compilation)

Dave Brubeck ( take five or any ) served Dave spaghetti in a classic European fine dining spot. Not on the menu, but anything for Dave! Had his autograph - fudging lost it in a breakup once. 😣

This thread sucks.

If I was stuck on a desert island I'm going to need:

Everything by Rush.
All Genesis through Duke.
All Yes through Big Generator.
All Crimson ever.
The Beatles. Holy shit!!! I need everything except the really early stuff...

...no, I need that too!

All Hendrix.
All Eric Johnson.
All Steely Dan/Fagen.
Chick Corea Electrik AND Acoustik bands.
Dream Theater through Scenes From A Memory.
Sabbath. I need Sabbath. (c'mon, we ALL need Sabbath)!

OK, I'll stop.

  1. Zep 1
  2. Diary of A Madman by Ozzy
  3. Mutopia by Nuclear Rabbit
  4. Leviathan by Mastodon
  5. Redeemer by Norma Jean
  6. Master of Puppets by Metallica
  7. Reckless by Bryan Adams
  8. Dark Side of the Moon
  9. Ten by Clouddead
  10. Three Dollar Bill Yall by Limp Bizkit
Yes, I'm bringing Fred to our desert island.

Sorry, but in absolutely no particular order (in case I'm allowed to bring 10, why should I rank them?). Not sure whether these are my Top 10 at all, either, these are just 10 coming to my mind because they meant something "more" to me at one point in my life. And they're all still on my phone at all times, so I can get back to them. Could easily add around 20 more of the same "status", but these must do for now.

Rickie Lee Jones - Pop Pop
Jamie Cullum - Catching Tales
George Benson - That's Right
King Crimson - Discipline
Foo Fighters - The Color And The Shape
BT - Emotional Technology
George Duke - Brazilian Love Affair
Brent Mason - Hotwired
Pink Floyd - Animals
Sheryl Crow - Wildflower

Damn 10 is just way too hard
but Ok ill try, in no particular order

Steve Vai Passion and Warfare
Joe Satriani Crystal Planet
Frank Marino & Mahogany Rush Live 1978
Led Zeppelin Physical Graffiti
Metallica Master of Puppets
Slayer Reign in Blood
Pantera Cowboys from Hell
Pink Floyd Dark side of the Moon
Black Sabbath Heaven & Hell
Van Halen Fair Warning

but that not enough would need another 100 more :D
