The little brother VLP-200 is kind of weird because there are two footswitches and seemingly one of them cannot be assigned as a dedicated stop.

I have limited experience while using a friend's Boss RC-1. It was nice but the playback mode had to be changed to Record> Play > Overdub often. Also the single footswitch had to be double tapped to stop.
