Victory PowerValve 200 - for preamps/modelers

Also says to give it 60 seconds, what a nice ritual.
That's not too far off from what it takes for any tube circuit to heat up properly. We just never think about it because we are used to flipping the power switch, going to get a guitar, tuning it and then it's already warmed up.

The stupidity is having to set it to some specific settings for it to work properly, rather than just waiting for it to heat up like most tube amps.

IMO Victory amps are generally well thought out and designed, so I don't get why they'd let this out to the market.

It seems like the may have discovered the issue after having gone into production.

The "we forgot to put this in the manual" thing is likely a hand-wavey attempt to avoid embarrassment and to support customers that have already bought the device?

This seemed cool until I read the comments and Startup bugs. No thanks. Was planning on waiting for the Wampler anyhow.

There's no guarantee that the Wampler won't have bugs or pitfalls when it ships. That said, I will be ordering day 1. It seems like the people behind that product completely get it as far as what I have wanted in a power amp and why.
