I have a 8008 valvestate 19"
Absolutely killer amp.
I prefer the ENGL 920 (duh) but the valvestate surprises me every time. It has balls when dialed in correctly (not above or just slightly above 12:00).

I had a VS100 1x12 I sold when I bought my JCM2000. I wish I had never sold it. It was the perfect grab-and-go amp. I miss it every time my back goes out moving the 900 cab.

The AVTs are fine for what they are, though honestly a let down for those of us that had the opportunity to play the 8000 series. Are AVTs better than MGs? Absolutely. Are they the same as the 8000s or the VS series that came after? Not really.
