tryna make a 4 pedal board (always on dirt, bogner lagrange (whuch is dirt and a boost), HOF, and tuner), and since two of my amps have loops.. figured id throw my HOF on it and wanted to use 4 cable.

anything i need to worry about? i just figured a pedaltrain metro 20, my pedalpower plug, some velcro, some zip ties, and i have a pretty solid front end for basically any basic purpose.. as i am mostly a guitarist for basic purposes :D

gracias!

yeah- as a sound person/field recording person, i know the necessity of that, fo sho! i dunno why i figured a dingdong little pedalboard would be much different- but pedal power consistently irritates me versus real power supplies
 so that was my primary concern.

i just found an older thread on the cable sleeves to keep it all together and that seems like a pretty great investment as well.

Small boards are where it's at. Last nights rehearsal I had a tuner, the noise, ts9, and a swollen pickle. Used the reverb and delay on the katana. Was fun.

yeah.. i never really assimilated 'boards'- im just trying to make a thing that'll let me get usable sounds easily into almost anything and be able to adapt feel to work. the time stuff isnt necessary- i can absolutely do the same thing dry as a bone- but why NOT have the capacity if its one space and two cords?

I probably wouldn't bother with 4cm on this and run it all up front of a clean amp? Or I'd add more loop pedals to pair up with that reverb :love

i know its OTT for an always on, a drive, a tuner and an HOF. but in all seriousness.. i have no verb on my amps, and the big solid stater is a short spring tank... so its meh. the whole schtick is just ridiculous... but inuse verb about as often as i buy penny loafers  its a cheap insurance policy. maybe id actually use it now and again if its there :D i actually probably use a little too much gain to verb out front anyhoo a lotta times, and i never use anything else!

I get it, 100%. It's just that 4cm adds enough clutter into the situation that I'd want it to be "worth it". For whatever that means :rofl Delay and verb for me are generally no bueno so I feel you there definitely.

nothing exceeds like excess.

i mean.. i could go full rack or somethin, or just put three pedals on a board like a sensible person :D
