Random thoughts with this version of the board:
The Brig is slowly sinking its teeth in. Strymon knows delays. I have not taken to multi-mode at all, but the two classic modes are broody and have all that vibe. The modulation is tuned soooo nice at moderate levels. It’s a little finicky to get the mix/repeats perfect when you want the delay to not sit back and be a little more present (without getting too washed out) but a minor quibble. It puts up a real fight with the Thermae, but the Thermae has that bit of analog crust that’s great going into the front of an amp and just has little more of a natural dimension to it. Brig just gives a different alternative with a slightly more polished stereo wash.
Diamond Vibrato. Slowly landing on a preferred setup with moderate speed, low depth and just a touch of dry blend. Pedal is dark AF, and the tone switches take it darker and darkest. Thanks for that bro. But, if I lean into I can get some really good depression-core clean tones with it.
Board prepped for the final showdown. Empress Reverb vs Big Sky, which should land tomorrow. The big box reverb death match nears the end.
