The Circle Guitar

I think it's pretty cool. Novel yes, but I could see some interesting sounds being created.
Definitely not for everyone, even if it sold for $300.

One defenitely shouldn't consider this to be a "guitar". It's rather a sound-exploring/shaping tool that can easily be used by guitarists as it shares some familiar stuff.
Imagine the possibilities when installing a GK pickup and running it through an SY-1000 (or a VG-800). Maybe the internal Hex-pickup could even be used for that somehow.

It's a ridiculous product, but extremely innovative!

I honestly welcome anyone who is willing to try making something different, and hope that some future famous musician ends up using it to do something interesting.

It's not for probably anyone on this forum, but there's always some people who like to think way outside the box and maybe manage to make use of it.

I could defenitely make use of it, but as it'd be just for fun, I couldn't justify the expense.

Fwiw, I'm actually wondering whether this will see the light of the day at all. It's in no way new, here's an article about it from 2020:

and yet, apparently nobody has ever bought one.
The 2020 design was a prototype. Current design is a production version but they’re only going to build a handful. They’re hoping to license the concept to a builder who can build more much less expensively.
