TH-U Essentials for free

Last day to grab this for free.
Yes, it's not much content, but I still enjoy using it (despite of also owning Amplitube Max and Helix Native), one nice thing being that it loads really quickly, whereas both AT and HXN take a while (not much but it's still not instant). And it's pretty easy to dial in working sounds, too.

Presumably this was made free because a new version is around the corner. Desperately in need of a refresh, particularly at what they're trying to sell it for. This is absolute hell for me to use

Yeah, their official asking prices are nothing I'd ever consider paying.

Agreed. Especially as you can zoom far out for quicker navigation but then have to zoom back in for adjustments. Sure, there's the iconized overview at the bottom which you can use for navigation, but you still need to click around multiple times to get to certain parameters.
I'd be fine with just that overview and the rest of the space being used for instant parameter display. That mixture of normal clicks, doubleclicks, setting clicks, zooming and dragging simply is no good.

So it's possibly even a good thing to just have this limited version. Keeps you away from any complexed patches. Still, I wish there was a compressor in this version.

they could definitely do with some scaling options, the zoom isn’t as helpful as it should be. So many things just look way too small and require you to read it. Was sort of curious what their tech was like but I haven’t heard anything that’s knocked my socks off and it’s a bit of a pain to use. Probably just going to uninstall and see what they come up with next
