Telecaster: getting used to bridge?

Set your amps presence/treble with the bridge pup, neck with the bass, midrange somewhere, were both are happy.
Also, I mod my Tele w/4 pos SW to give me the bridge/neck in series. I prefer that HB like sound to the bridge alone.
One last thing, brass saddles over steel to warm things up.

There have been quite a few suggestions of modifications to your guitar here.
I’m a keep it simple stupid kind of a guy lol.
I’m not sure if this has been mentioned but,
have you tried a different type of strings to tame it down some ?

Pure nickel rather than nickel plated exclusively for me on my tele. Also, only change strings when the break and/or stop holding tuning.
