I wish gotoh made a repro kluson with the wide line gap in the middle. They now make a single and double line branded version for Kluson which are exactly right for 1955 onwards but no earlier version.

This is what I want but all you can get is;

Fantastic later version.
The sd91 is just missing the gap in the line but it’s obvious. There is also a Korean version but the button is the wrong shape ffs.

The best unbranded version but I would still swap it out if there was something more correct.

The top one here is supposed to be correct but the button is totally off. These are made at the Korean factory they should switch to Gotoh then we would have a chance of a correct version.

I need to decide how much relic work on the neck.
I want it to look genuine so none of that sanding the middle of the back of the neck crap.

The sun is making those look way to yellow in the pictures but in person they look right.
