Sylvia is AWESOME.
Not sure I'd be that impressed by the pickle/potato/hosepipe trick shoehorned onto my songs but she is absolutely the real deal and makes amazing sounding stuff.
Ha just recognised Jeff Pevar from a Flying Burrito Brothers tribute he was playing in. Absolute monster player.

This was the first Sylvia-at-work vid I ever saw-
I had heard stories about that piano shooting before but thought it was folklore. She’s a producer I’d be ecstatic to work with because she goes for the things I love about recording the most; the unexpected/happy accidents/do something weird and see what happens stuff. Hahaha there’s a vid of her on her channel using different lightbulbs to get different guitar tones. I dunno who has budgets for that kind of working environment these days but I’m glad it’s still happening.
