Stuff

I use a Fender and the more expensive Orange and have had no problems with either of them.
I bought this one in 2022 for a small afford a board project and it works fine.

It's not garbage, you seem to have little experience with those items.
I’ve built numerous pedalboards for pro users and skimping on core components that may not work in future applications is a basic no. Isolated powering and isolation Y functions are not negotiable. Trying to save $100 dollars on a $3k pedal board is asking for trouble. The products from Gig Rig and Lehle just don’t fail and are top quality in the audio path and switch silently.

What is he saving by buying the budget option that may not even work out? The good one isn’t really that expensive.

Just taken a picture of my Fender which for the last few months has been plugged into my Electro Harmonix Mig 50.
So I could switch between both inputs .
Works and sounds excellent 👍
They are not expensive new or used.

100 bucks and some space (compared to, say, the Little Lehle III).
No isolation a crappy switch and worse audio quality crappy build quality vs $100 more and that’s without factoring in an isolation box .
It’s a choice but a pretty easy one. .

That’s fine if you don’t need isolation. But if you gig you won’t know until it’s too late.

Oh, so you have inspected the pedal? Cool, which brand is the switch? And when did you examin it?
Alpha you can tell from the picture if you’re used to seeing them , the better ones are clearly different and there aren’t many manufacturers. Most companies use theses until you get to the bespoke switches made for specific products. The gig rig and Lehle switches are custom made for them and are fundamentally different..

I get it you like doing it on the cheap but don’t kid yourself that there’s no difference. It’s not the high end companies making money, in fact companies like Gig rig have a lower margin than most budget brands. The ticket price is rarely an accurate representation of value for the end user.
