Stomp Under Foot Cosmic Queen

Got a Stomp Under Foot Cosmic Queen. It’s supposedly based on the Double Muff pedal but has some really cool non Muff things going on. Does the fuzz face like cleanup thing which I did not record. Also sounds amazing with my Phase 90.

Clip above is my Strat. Pedal by itself light gain, heavier gain, with Dispatch Master delay and finally boosting my Astoria. Amp is my Vibrolux Reverb normal channel. Bright cap off, volume 5, treble 5, bass 4 into a Two Notes Captor going to my Focusrite 2i2. WoS for IRs. Fortin Beast Cream Cab. No post EQ.

Matt’s become one of my favorite builders out there. His Muffs and fuzz are the chef’s kiss of pedals. I need/want at least one more Muff from him. Probably a Civil War or Red Menace but he’s been teasing a Red Army reissue again. And if he does that, I’ll have to have it. And I should probably get a Bender from him also.

It’s a really cool pedal! I’ve been playing with it all week since I got it and it’s tough to put down. It plays well with HBs too and has a broad range of gain available to it. It stacks well into muffs but also takes some pedals in front of it well. It sounds great with a comp pushing it or my SD-1. It does not like my Keeley Super Phat Mod (Modded BD-2) pushing it. Just a super cool pedal here. I can get some Gilmour-like early fuzz out of it but it really does have a cool and unique voice.
