Song with Yes member collaborator! Will return the favor!

I was impressed by jcub's Chapman Stick playing on his song "Splitting Atoms" (from a different forum), so I asked him if I could use part of the Stick audio on a song of mine; he said yes. I have been intrigued by the Chapman Stick since 1981, starting with King Crimson's song "Elephant Talk". I don't think I have seen a Chapman Stick in person, much less play one. If you didn't already know, jcub has collaborated with singer Jon Anderson on one song, and bassist/guitarist Billy Sherwood on a different song; both members of Yes. Anyway here is our song, that I named "Splitting Atoms or Splitting Hairs", it is the song on top. Please tell me how you like the song and how it can be improved, and I will return the favor (leave me a link if you don't have a recent thread). Here is my link:

I think it is awesome ;~)) I felt the drums were kicking me a bit too hard at a couple of points, but personal preferences are what they are! Great job and kudos to JCub for lending out his Stickmanship!!

Moondog,
Thank you for listening and commenting! I appreciate it! Since I am probably from a different planet, is your last name WILY? I can't find "Piccolomini Crater, Luna" on Google Maps. What country is that in? Sounds like it could be in Italy. If you have music you want me to review, leave me a link.

You are welcome Aaron!

Piccolomini Crater is on the rock that rotates the earth, who many refer to as the Moon ;~)) Google Maps has been barred from mapping the lunar surface for fear of assimilation!

I released an album in August '25 titled "Knock Knock Knock" that is at my bandcamp page if you want to give it (or parts thereof) a listen. Very simple singer/songwriter production levels, but I am doing that intentionally for a number of reasons which are outlined in the liner notes to that album if you want more details. There is also a link in the Member , Clips, Video Projects section here on the forum to that album. I have released 3 albums and several singles under this artist name (Moondog Wily) and have released two albums and a few signals under another artist name (Funk genre - much more advanced full band production stuff). I also have an album coming out in the next two weeks or so under yet another artist name which I can not talk about here on the forum due to it's political nature, but that is fine with me ;~)) If you do give a listen, much appreciated and comments should go in the page linked above for that album (and previous albums have links in the same section). Any comments, good/bad always appreciated. I have thick skin and want to hear what people do not like as well as any bits they do like. I think most will agree, that wordsmithing is my most honed skill so the other elements generally pale in comparison ;~)) And to be clear, I did not comment on your piece because I expect you to listen to mine. I like to encourage others to record and share their material, which is why I have MC'd the Do Something Challenge here on the forum for the past 1.5 years+ ;~))

Keep up the good work and be sure to join us starting this coming Sunday for the "Do Something Challenge". Season 11 starting on Sunday Jan 25th and it is just stuff we are working on and would like to share with others. We would love to have you on board in the Challenge!!! Here is a general overview though some modifications have been made since it was published and it will all be details on Sunday with the Season 11 launch. Previous season submissions and feedback can be seen in the DSC Archive section!
