Channeling my inner @la szum here. Share your 'small things in life' that made you happy today. Or any day. And yes, I made a new thread, dad! :crazy

I hate throwing stuff out that still works fine, but needs some TLC. To wit: My Hoover Wind Tunnel vacuum I bought a couple decades ago (based on a Consumer's Report rating that turned out to be spot-on!) needs new attachments. So off to Amazon.

Couldn't find the exact set that came with it when new, but I managed to find what I was looking for. The best part? I ordered a 4-pak of extension wands that now allow me to reach up to the peak of my cathedral ceiling without using a ladder, and get rid of that cobweb I've been staring at for 3 years! :sofa LOL

And vacuum the ceiling fan blades. Yeah, it felt good!!

Then I kept going... HVAC return air grills? Check.
Above the crown molding that conceals the mood lighting? Yep, got that too.
Tops of the high window trims? Uh huh.

I'll make a good wife some day. :rofl (ooh, can I use that old joke in 2026? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯)

Time for some geetar! :rawk

I had a married friend who used to tell me that all the time. Because I was neat and enjoyed cooking. :idk

Freaking misogynists!!! :hmm

I do enjoy a good old fashioned "Spring Cleaning." Gonna hang out the bedding and rugs here on the
next really nice sunny day!

Oh I'm so happy!! (Big change from the other day dealing with incorrect online orders, and some with missing parts!)

Received the correct order today of 2 new keys/remote entry, so got the keys cut, and watched a couple videos on how to program them.

A bit of a step-by-exact-step procedure, as I found out:

I got both new keys programmed to start the truck, no prob. But when I go to program the actual fob so it will lock/unlock the doors, remote start, etc., each time I got the 2nd fob programmed, the first one would no longer work!! :cuss:cuss:cussKept trading back and forth!

At first I gave up. Figured, I have 1 new key that functions completely, a 2nd new key that starts the truck, and if the 1st key ever craps out, I know how to program it to work. Good enough for me since I'm the only driver.

But then I was like, nope. I want them both working. Back to google. Long story short, I found a better video, learned of the 1 step I was doing wrong, and now they both work as they should!!

Fuck yeah! I know I just saved myself about $250, even though it took me about an hour or so of my time. I'm fine with that, especially since I learned something new! :pickle:pickle

Little things, I say. ;)
