Some NAM profiles for y'all

Yeah, that'd be great.
And it's been exactly your packs that actually made me wonder. Would be really convenient in case there was a "both" option or if packs offering both would show up in either search.
Yeah - it kinda sucks for visibility but if they do add multi-category support, it'll mess with how they display their main page Tones.

The "New" and "Trending" sections / bars were added to address complaints of many users who flagged up the fact that, previously, new releases wouldn't show up on the main page & would be overlooked by older / more established stuff.

If multi-category tags get added, you could end up in a situation where a handful of packs (with AMP, FULLRIG, PEDAL etc profiles in one package) could overtake all views / categories.

If you like Marshalls / Plexis, check in on my Friedman Plex pack and the JCM800 Modified 2203.

Those really do the British legacy justice & both packs are profiled with a real cabinet load.

Friedman PLEX:

Marshall JCM800 Modified 2203:

I'll check them out!

Tried the PLEX, sounds absolutely killer! :)
I also have a Friedman BE100 Deluxe pack posted there.

That's pretty cool too but a bit fatter than your typical Plexi.

I finally got around to plugging in that GP-5 and downloaded the Plex, Fortus and King Kong community packs, as well as the Valeton Suite. I think from start to finish it was….6 minutes before I was playing a Snaptone of the Plex? That’s pretty crazy. I loaded up a few different Snaptones and was able to find some killer, usable tones pretty damn quickly. Obviously the Fortus was an easy one, but it’s crazy to me that technology is at the point you can even ‘copy and paste a guitar tone out of a video’.

I know the Snaptone process degrades the caps a bit, but not hearing the original .nam versions I have nothing to gauge, so I just hear some great sounding caps. I plugged the GP-5 straight into my PS100 which is powering a 1960A cab, I couldn’t crank it up tonight so hopefully I get a shot tomorrow. They’re surprisingly reactive to the volume knob. I’m definitely anxious to check some more of these out!! Thanks for making these community packs, I’m definitely going to be grabbing some full ones!

The Fortus one was a pain in the a$$ to dial in though. I did it when SlamminMofo reached out & asked if I can give it a shot.

NAM can't - yet - come up with a tone from a vid. I probably spent 2 hours dialing my Molecular in to match Pete's vid. It came out pretty good - he was using Blackbacks with a 57 + 421 mix IIRC.

The cool thing with NAM is you can feed it a training signal with a very rich dynamic range & the profiles learn how to properly react like the real deal.
I "injected" some bits of the Neural DSP Quad Cortex Neural Capture v2 signal in my NAM training signal because it's very good (a lot of transients, soft & loud parts).

I should have a new pack out in the next 12 hours or so - this one's an amp some may have forgotten about but it was eagerly anticipated right around when COVID hit & the world started going to sh!t lol

My initial hunch is a Fortin Pumpkin....but I'll be keeping an eye out!

Definitely going to dig around for some more profiles today while I can get some volume going. For being a pain in the ass, I was still able to get a pretty happenin' tone from it!

OHHHH SNAP!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This GP-5 might be getting me into the capture stuff a lot more than I expected. I didn't think I'd ever get the chance to 'play' through that amp and hadn't even thought about captures. Cattle Decap is one of my favorite bands in the last few years, I can't wait to check this out!

How's the actual amp sound? I don't think I've seen anybody anywhere mention they played one yet. You might also consider specifying that it's the new PCB version instead of the custom shop hand-wired version, as they are different.

I didn't call it the Custom - specified it's the production run in the Tone3000 pack.

Amp sounds good but I don't have the Custom shop one to compare it to.
The production one has an additional 3-way depth switch added which is handy.

I reamped some quick riffs through my Mesa 4x12 with an SM58 on the top-right speaker.

Guitar straight-in (Charvel DK24 HH HT with a SD Full Shred in the bridge), no pedals and no post-processing other than normalizing the tracks.

All settings at noon (Super-Hi / 4th gain stage off) & moved the Depth knob in all 3 positions (I, II and III).

Did the same thing with the Super-Hi / 4th gain stage on.
