SHOW OFF YOUR PEDALBOARD!

Oh, I see. I never thought about that... I have to consider this when I configure my FXL8.
Don't know your workflow, but we have In Ear Monitoring where we 'announce' the upcoming song to ourselves. It's possible to use that for further instructions like:
'Turn Phaser on, Pedal controls set to red markers'
I will probably use that along with a set list with instructions per Song.

In preparation for building a new board and reworking a couple of other boards, I updated my Pedal Playground pallet. I think I might have a pedal hoarding problem.
:facepalm

* There wasn't an image for the Royalist, so that's why there are 2 Imperial preamp pedals shown . Also, the Recoder hasn't yet shipped., and the Rectifier footswitch should be Mark VII.*

You'e definitely gonna need a buffer running through that lot. :grin Oh and someone to carry it for you. Imagine having to find a broken patch cable in the middle of a gig:columbo

Junkies and Hoarders are all one and the same. Eventually.

Haha! Truth! :rofl

I climaxed in pedalboard building in about 2013. It's all been glorious downsizing since then.

I mean, we can only rise so far before we get a little top heavy and tip over, and our massive
board crushes us beneath the weight of our own ambitions.

I made this video around 2013-ish. I ordered it.

When it arrived I suddenly realized how utterly unworkable and ridiculous
my pursuit had become. I could barely fit just the pedalboard in my car at the time,
let alone haul amps and guitars.
:bonk

Now I am far, far saner and more well-adjusted. :watI realized I can have the same square footage
of total pedalboard space, but just need to divide it into 3 or 4 different, but equally compelling
"boards. " :cheers

Fortunately, I try to keep my "big" boards limited to 12 pedals or less. The "hoarder's pallet" serves as a source for substitutions and experimentation. I can also grab a couple of pedals from the stash and drop them in my gig bag for spontaneous jam sessions and situations where limited space does not favor a full size board.

Who am I kidding? I'm just a gearJunkie!
:grin

As it was spoken of old: Let a man keep ever three boards of such surpassing worth, that none may know which among them is the chosen.
