SHOW OFF YOUR PEDALBOARD!

I got a mini Wah and a Rockboard Quad 4.4 for Christmas. My first proper pedalboard and I'm very happy. View attachment 57955

I have built a weird one in the past. It's made for band practice and fiddling around, we're using HX Stomps on stage.
Also I had to transport it back in the day, so it has handles. There's 2 'floors' to hide stuff and put pedals below that I don't need to access (Gate usually).

And now another specialty: I had to go with the Joyo PXL8 Pro Loop Switcher which is not being sold in Germany, only the Thomann/Harley Benton version which is identical, but only has 2 Amp switching Jacks. So I imported that and built a translation module to work with my Laney Ironheart Amp which uses a Midi Jack that does not use Midi. Weird design choice if you ask me.

It is still in use, but I'm about to build a new and smaller one also for gig use as I'm not happy with the HX Stomp anymore.

I don’t know when I can say this board started, but I’ll likely remember January 27th as the date it was finally functioning for a while to come.

Right now my board feels sort of complete, the Cloudburst and Fable was my last additions… ..but who am I kidding, in a couple of months I’ll probably have swapped out some of the drive section and some of the delays 😅

Right now I’m screwing around with the patches on the GX-10, still think I prefer having a “Main” patch, but I’m actually having fun switching between wacky patches

That's a board I'd definitely get along with! Nice choices there, kudos 😍

Acapulco Gold

Top-notch stuff there!

The Acapulco Gold has been a bit of a revelation for me, for a one-knob-pedal it sure can do a lot of things! It chunks, it screams, it gnarls and to me is much easier to control than a fuzz.

This is something I'm experimenting with at the moment, it's a post-amplifier "wet rig" that I can use with either of my amps, and any future amps I get.

Amp > Suhr Reactive Load > Two Notes CAB M > [Wet rig] > Interface/Headphone amp.

Few more things to add to it and plan on running a couple of things in parallel with an RJM Micro Mixer, but this is a good start for now.

This is a fun experiment I did recently - I built a powerful little board around an NC. Of course this is right before the QC Mini came out, and I’m considering jumping to that as soon as more units are available. Running dual mono, I have one output going to the power amp without a cab impulse, and one going to the Canvas DI/Line Isolator with a cab impulse. For my clean sound and one of my leads, I have the expression pedal set to volume swells, for my main lead sound, when I touch the expression pedal it switches on an overdrive and turns on the wah (similar to the Dime Crybaby I love so much). This is a great feature to have in such a small unit. My cable management is acceptable for now as I didn’t want to cut cables for units that might be temporary. I’m not really utilizing the Mod 2 for much here other than combined power. I might look into the mod that has a wireless system integrated if I keep this setup long-term.

My 4 main presets are captures from my own amp

1. Clean - Road King Tweed with an RC boost up front.
2. Rhythm - 808 boosted Road King Red Modern channel 4x6L6
3. Lead - Mark VII IIC+ mode
4. Lead 2 - 808 boosted Road King Orange Modern in 2x6L6 2xEL34

Amps captured with the NC using a Suhr reactive load and they sound 1:1 with the real amp. It’s crazy amazing technology.
