I know...the HR speaker crap is all Alto.....it's all InMusic....and it all sucksAll the same company. They’re spitting out as much repackaged bullshit as possible.
The alto equivalent is less expensive. Same unit, different name.I use an Headrush 1-12 for a keyboard amp.... but I didn't put my name on it.![]()
Yeah, they don't need to be loud, IMO. Ideally, a busker is playing at a reasonable enough volume to attract people to go stand right there and listen, but not be a nuisance for those that don't want to listen. I live in a college town, and there are buskers on the weekends that do a really good job of this, IMO. Some of them are even amplified, but aren't obnoxious about it in terms of volume.I mean, it might be fine for it's intended purpose. Battery life and the features are pretty good. I could've used this in my busking days but back then we just relied on our natural acoustic and vocal volume and finding an acoustic friendly shop aclove to help add some reverb (was actually great practice!). It's kinda crazy how many buskers run these amped setups these days. We were in Dublin a few months ago and some of those dudes were loud!
Busk A Nut
I’m serious. I love Cory Wong, but his new Wong Press pedal is $80 more than the Soul Press II it’s based on, and for no good reason I can see.Kudos to Alto and Ed Sheeran for not charging a premium for Sheeran’s name.
I always Busk my PanterA riffs at traffic intersections near freeway underpasses.I don't think the controls are far enough apart on that guitar.
EDIT
I'd be seriously annoyed if I were walking past that dude.
