Oh if I bought that monster it'd sit in one spot in my studio/jam room. 400 bucks and MGR says it works. I'd prolly even re-stain and poly the thing just to make it purtier. I had a Carvin Combo in oak (XV112E I think) once years ago. Sounded like dung but looked beautiful.

Regarding the speaker, I'd guess a thumpy single 15" should suffice if rated properly, which means: slightly above maximum amp power.

The only problem I'm seeing is that depending on the amp, 200W might not be the "real" maximum. Just like the 100W Ampeg VT-22 is rated at 100W but said to be capable of pumping up to 160W (if I recall correctly) when cranked.

On the other hand, do you really need to push an un-attenuated 200W tube amp to its absolute limits?
