RV5 vs RV6 vs RV200

I'd love to try a Neunaber. But the Illumine or whatever it is cool just looks like an absolute dickhole to use. The user interface really puts me off.
It is. I hate it. But I hate everything with menus nowadays… can’t stand it. Gimme knobs.
With that said… Neunaber verbs are always nice. But you won’t find anything aggressive there imo. He makes beautiful reverbs. That’s it. If you stumble over any of the Wet pedals grab one and try. The Wet algo is probably the most recognized. I like my Wet (v5), three knobs, mono, simple. But it’s really nothing i step on when i feel there’s post-rock/shoegazy mood. It sits last in the chain, a splash of wet. Or dime it for some clean ambiance slumber moody dreamy stuff. Id say it’s plate when dialed back and hall when dialed up long.

I've genuinely never even heard of that pedal. I've just been having a look and it's not for me. Way too much going on. Definitely interested in the Immerse V2 though.

I can't believe how bowel the RV200 is.

I'm actually amazed that they thought it was a worthwhile product.

£70 Mooer pedals put it to shame!!!!

I was getting worried about you for a second there.

I still think the RV5 and RV3 should be in everyone's collection. Never been a fan
of the Boss MFX 'Verb and Delays, though.

Maybe someday check out the Boss SDE. I have the EVH version and I think you'd
enjoy messing with the W/D and W/D/W capabilities it has. You can do things with
it no other Boss pedal can, or other brand of Big Box Delay. It's special, in my eyes.
And ears. :beer

That's interesting, I was running the tone control on the RV-6 pretty low. I didn't use mine much since getting it but plan to put a mostly Boss board back together and run in stereo.

I'm shocked that I've never owned either an RV3 or RV5 considering
Same here, basically all my favorite albums from the bands I listen the most to have one or the other or both. Never owned one of them myself, but played an RV-5 once, it’s special.

I think… in the context of different genres and such…. Both RV-5 and RV-3 will cut through in a prominent way. And also many like to use them into dirt/fuzz because of the prominent behavior. Sometimes it’s actually quirks and details in the grainier older reverbs that is preferred, for some applications.

On the topic of prominent doh… :grin See what I did there haha… I’m so funny…

Anyway.. was going to say, prominent and in the face reverbs… ima gonna try a EQD Levitation tomorrow.

It’s the Belton Brick thingamabob and as i fucked up my last Belton brick reverb by trying to rape it with my filthy fingers… I wanted to look out for another one… because I really felt that’s the shit to slam into other pedals… because of its “bad” reverb characteristics.
