My dad loved The Band and I have nice memories of hearing their albums around the house as a kid.
I got into his ‘87 solo album as a teenager, not knowing anything about his Band connection, at first. It’s a great album, though I haven’t heard it in a long time. U2 are the backing band on some tracks and Bono sings backup (Lanois produced).
