There amps remind of kind of like a PRS Archon not bad amps but very generic and pedestrian sounding

100%. Zero desire to grab that model in anything ever let alone shell out $ for a real one.

Hah that's interesting, because I also liked the Archon classic I got - I guess I gravitate towards pedestrian tones haha

That Archon Classic sounds really good though! At least in the clips! I greatly prefer the streamlined design of it over something that is packed to the gils, feature wise.

My bad I was more commenting on the G50 100
I just watched the Dynamis vids and they are more like a dumble boutique thing and less high gain

The Archon classic I think is also a different amp to the OG Archon I think

No that one is different as is the Hendrix style amps IMHO. Where I find PRS amps not my thing is the more gainy type stuff

I liked the tones in the first clip. They may be generic but if so there's probably a reason why tones like that are so popular that they've become "generic".

I wouldn't choose that as my only amp but I've been thinking about getting a REVV amp for a while now just to have that option for when the situation calls for it.

I need to update my Axe FX III to get the newer amp models. The REVV amp block may be enough to satisfy that itch.

I played a D20 for a bit in a PW situation. It was pretty good for that. Only thing I hated was it was bad about having a hum when running out of the Two Notes direct out that’s built in. I’ve ran into the same issue with other Two Notes products.
